Planet Sarajevo, a leading immersive museum in Sarajevo, has been awarded the prestigious Vision 100 Award in recognition of its contribution to culture, innovation, and the development of cultural tourism in Sarajevo.
The Vision 100 Award, presented by Business News in cooperation with the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and under the patronage of Presidency Member Denis Bećirović, highlights outstanding projects and initiatives that strengthen the economy and support sustainable development.
Established in 2023, the award recognizes individuals, companies, and institutions that demonstrate innovation, sustainability, and positive impact on local communities, contributing to a stronger economic and social environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Planet Sarajevo was recognized as a unique multimedia museum in Sarajevo that brings together culture, art, and digital technology into a contemporary interpretation of the city’s legends, myths, and identity. As one of the most innovative tourist attractions in Sarajevo, it offers visitors an interactive and immersive experience, connecting history with modern storytelling.
‘Our goal was to create a space that connects the past and the future — a place where tradition meets technology, and emotion meets knowledge. This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes from the business community. It confirms that the creative industries, art, and innovation can also be drivers of social progress and economic development,’ said Edina Selesković, author of the Planet Sarajevo exhibition.
This recognition further strengthens the position of Planet Sarajevo as a must-visit museum in Sarajevo, contributing to the growth of the creative industry and cultural tourism sector in the region. It also highlights the project as a successful example of collaboration between art, business, and society.
The Planet Sarajevo project was realized with the support of BH Telecom, Sarajevska Pivara, NLB Bank, and Kommerling, under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Tourism and Environment and the City of Sarajevo.
