A New Chapter in Sarajevo’s Musical Story

Sarajevo Rocks 2026 is a unique international music project that will bring together more than 1,000 young musicians, singers, instrumentalists, bands, choirs, music schools and academies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and across Europe. The central event will take place on June 21, 2026, on World Music Day, transforming Sarajevo into one giant open-air stage filled with music, energy and young creativity. The project is organized by Pop Rock School Sarajevo, Planet Sarajevo and Radio Kameleon, with the support of Visit Sarajevo and numerous partners.
More Than a Concert
Although the project aims to create the world’s largest youth rock band and pursue a Guinness World Record attempt, Sarajevo Rocks 2026 is much more than a single concert. For months before the final performance, participants will take part in rehearsals, mentoring sessions, workshops and collaborative music-making experiences. Young musicians will have the opportunity to learn what it means to perform as part of a collective sound while sharing discipline, creativity and energy with hundreds of other performers.
