This multimedia and interactive experience offers a unique journey through one of the most vibrant periods of Sarajevo’s past – serving as inspiration for the future. This is not just an exhibition. It is a meeting of generations, an experience that connects the past and the present, where history can be seen, heard, and felt. Be part of Planet Sarajevo – because this is more than a museum. Here, we bring to life the era when Sarajevo was a metropolis of spirit and energy.

Step into the heart of Sarajevo’s golden age at this multimedia museum that brings the city’s cultural and social history (1945–1992) to life through rich storytelling, immersive art, personal stories, rare archives, and innovative design. From Sarajevo’s urban development to legendary music, architecture, film, sports, economy, and everyday life — discover the city’s soul through an emotional journey curated by artists, journalists, historians, and citizens.

Located in the center, near the Eternal Flame, Planet Sarajevo has already won four major awards: the Best New Attraction in Sarajevo Award, the Innovation in Culture Award, and two Gold No Limit Awards for best interior and the use of new technologies. Amazingly, Planet Sarajevo takes you to a ‘70s concert in the Infinity Room or down the Olympic bobsled track in VR. This is a must-see for anyone wishing to experience Sarajevo beyond the headlines.

Today, with the support of new technologies and a contemporary artistic approach, we bring those experiences to life and evoke emotions in the audience. This modern museum-gallery narrative informs, educates, and inspires, taking visitors on a journey through time while offering an interactive experience with new technologies… for audiences of all generations. The Interpretation center Planet Sarajevo has been open since August 14, 2025. We look forward to seeing you at M. Tita 56 in Sarajevo.
