ANSWER

Planet Sarajevo is not a museum of objects. It is a museum of stories. Rather than following a traditional museum format, Planet Sarajevo invites you to experience the city through the people, legends, myths, memories and everyday moments that shaped its identity. It is a different way of discovering Sarajevo—one where stories take centre stage and every visitor creates their own journey.

With hundreds of stories woven throughout the exhibition, the experience can feel overwhelming at first. But perhaps that is exactly how it should feel. Sarajevo itself is a city of countless layers, cultures and voices, impossible to understand through a single timeline or a handful of exhibits.

To bring these stories to life, Planet Sarajevo combines innovative storytelling with new technologies, including Virtual Reality, interactive touch screens, large-scale multimedia projections, QR codes, NFC technology, immersive audio experiences and the Infinity Room. These technologies are not attractions on their own—they are carefully chosen tools that allow every story to be experienced in a more personal, engaging and memorable way. There is no prescribed route and no single way to explore the museum. Follow the stories that capture your curiosity, spend as much time as you like with each exhibit, and discover the Sarajevo that speaks to you.
